Windhoek Namibia Food
My dear wife and I have just spent two and a half weeks travelling through Namibia, admiring the wildlife, looking at the beautiful landscape, meeting phenomenally friendly Namibians and getting confused about what exactly "Namibian food" is. I will describe some of the food we found and enjoyed while serving in the Peace Corps in innamibia.
The children and I researched and selected some facts about Namibia to get more insight into this beautiful country. That may not seem much, except that three of these dishes were rated as winning dishes in the recent plate competition. We packed our bags and started our week-long trip to Windhoek, the capital of Windhoek in the south of the country.

Look at the Chamber of Horrors, which depicts the grisly reality of the genocide of the Herero and Nama. Eat traditional foods like a good old steak, and you have your appetite back - and maybe even a bit of stomach ache.

VAN (vegan awareness in Namibia) is a non-profit organisation that raises awareness of cruelty - a free life in and around Namibian food, there are few other cuisines that are comparable to this cuisine. Traditional dance groups representing the different ethnic groups in Innamibia perform at local and national festivals and holidays and also take part in competitions. It is defined as a mixture of traditional dance, music, cooking and cooking, as well as food and drink.
Food plays a very important role in cultures around the world, and it is no exception in Namibia. South Africa is a dominant grocery store and its diverse population makes much of the food readily available.

Biltong is a delicacy made of fine pieces of meat, marinated and seasoned with the finest ingredients. It is dried meat that is marinated for a day and then spiced and hung to dry for 2-3 weeks. These are dry meat, which can be kudu, springbok or noble buck, which are marinated for days, then seasoned and hung dry for up to 2 to 3 weeks.
It is mainly a staple of the Oshiwambo community and is enjoyed by most ethnic groups in Namibia. However, it is a little more complicated when it comes to Namibian food, as eleven different ethnic groups live there and therefore cannot be singled out as a particular dish.
Let me be clear: why would anyone choose a court that is supposed to be representative of Namibia? The European court of Namibian game does not automatically become a Namibian court, nor does it cause problems for other ethnic groups.
A nation's cuisine is defined as the cooking practice and tradition associated with a particular culture. This is the current state of Namibian cuisine: chefs and chefs meet botanists and traditional food producers to explore the culinary potential of native plants. Nowadays, Namibia prides itself on being the country with the best biltong, known for the quality of the meat used. Although originally from South Africa, it is also considered by many people as a South African delicacy at first, but it is now known to find its way to other countries, with its high-quality meat possibly playing a role in some cases. Namibian biltsong is good because it offers high quality meat, such as zebras, oryx and zebra. What you can eat here in Africa is imbued with a great variety of animals, from wild animals to birds, reptiles, birds of prey and people.
